The 13th Blueberry Conference, organised by Hortus Media, was held on 6-7 March 2025 in Ożarów Mazowiecki. A lecture on soil-feeding pests, which are also a threat to blueberry plantations, was given by Dr hab. Małgorzata Tartanus. The lecture allowed to introduce AGROBIOCONNECT concept and research methods, showing also some preliminary results about the impact of landscape on farm biodiversity and pest management. The usefulness of landscape management on fruit crops was also discussed with the participants, raising a discussion about the real capacity of farmers to exploit biodiversity and the methods to support the control of soil-borne pests.
