On 5 March 2025, at the Forest Training Centre in Nagórzyce belonging to the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Łódź, a meeting and discussion were held on problems and research on the occurrence of pests that cause great damage to forests and orchard crops. The Instytut Ogrodnictwa-PIB was also invited to the meeting and Dr hab. Małgorzata Tartanus presented issues related to pest management of fruit crops in relation to the impact of landscape management. During the lecture, participants were introduced to AGROBIOCONNECT activities, research methods and preliminary results. It also showed the practical benefits that can arise from research on landscape complexity. The presentation created interest among the audience, formed mainly by forest managers, prompting a lively discussion on the topic. We join forces for the good of the environment!
