On 12 March 2024, a conference was held at the Mazovian Agricultural Advisory Centre in Warsaw, Płońsk branch, entitled “Comprehensive berry crop technology. Threats and prospects for the new season.” The conference was attended, both stationary and online, by berry growers, industry advisors and students from agricultural schools. During a lecture given by Dr. Małgorzata Tartanus, an employee of the National Institute of Horticultural Research – PIB (INHORT), participants were introduced to the activities developed by the project and the research methods it envisages in relation to the evaluation of the impact of the landscape on orchard biodiversity. It was also shown the practical benefits for berry plantations which can derive from landscape management. The interest in the presentation was reflected in numerous questions and comments after the lecture.
